Calling Features
Caller IDMany telephone company charge for this feature and call it a privilege. At Telehop, we believe Caller ID is a right and not a privilege and that it should be free. Call ID allows you to see both the name and phone of the person calling you.	Caller ID BlockProtect your privacy by blocking your number. This feature allows you to make a call without the other party seeing your name or number. Simply log into your Web Portal. Under the tab “Plan” click disable.	VoicemailThis feature allows callers to leave you confidential messages while you are away from your phone or busy on the line.	Enhanced VoicemailThis feature allows you to view and listen to your voicemail messages on your personal web portal, receive messages as email attachments and allows you to listen to your messages on your PC.
Call WaitingCall waiting allows you to accept incoming calls while you’re on the phone. To Active: Press the “Flash” button on your phone to answer the second line. This will put the first caller on hold. To switch callers, press the “Flash” button again.	Call ForwardingCall forwarding allows you to forward all incoming calls to any phone number around the world. Dial 72 from your home phone. After a brief pause enter the forwarding number and watch as all call get transferred.	Call Forwarding RemoteLog into your web portal and under the tab “Plans”, enter the number you wish to forward all calls to.	Three-Way CallingThis feature allows you to have a conference call with 2 other people. Dial the first caller and put them on hold by pressing the “Flash” button. Dial the second caller. When the person answers press the “link” button or the “flash” button twice.
Travel PhoneTake your home phone anywhere in the world, provided an internet connection is available.		Do Not DisturbThis feature allows you to keep your quite time suite by diverting all your calls to your voicemail. To active this feature log into your web portal.

For example a person living in Toronto, Ontario can have a 514 Montreal, Quebec number that turns all incoming calls from Montreal into local calls.	Soft Phone for Home$1.99/month – Telehop’s Softphone for Home users is a great way to augment your existing Home Phone service allowing you to make and receive calls from your home phone and a PC or laptop.
